Drylab’s CSO says tech can play important role in reducing carbon footprint of TV and film
Stein Kvae, of Drylab Media Tech, joined Katie on Earth Day to talk about the role technology can play in reducing the emission footprint of TV and film production
“There’s so much more focus now than before, of course, because the film production business has actually been an industry where we didn’t really talk too much about the footprints that we are making but when you analyze it you see that there are really important areas that you can actually save a lot and some of the most important areas of that is transportation and paper printing.”
Media Tech SPAC Plc last month agreed to acquire Scandinavia based film and TV production software platform Drylab.
The firm’s technology is used in more than 90% of productions in Norway and Sweden – in productions for the likes of Netflix, HBO, Paramount and the BBC.
